Glock 43x Mos Red Dot - If you need a scope for your Glock 43X, I'd be happy to help. The Modular Optic System, or MOS, version of the G43X has a factory-cut slide that only accepts micro-footprint-sized optics using the RMSc-type base. Not all red dot sights (RDS) are suitable.
Initially popularized by the Smith & Wesson Shield series, the RMSc footprint is now used on many handguns, including the SIG SAUER P365 series and the Springfield Armory Hellcat optic. Sights are more compact than conventional pistol sights and are necessary for slim handguns like the G43X.
Glock 43x Mos Red Dot
I have thoroughly researched the use of reflex sights on handguns and tested more than a few options on the market. In order to help you decide which red dot best suits your needs, I present a list of Glock 43X optics.

This optic also fits the Glock 48 MOS pistol. Although I try to keep the list up to date, I understand that I may miss a new product release. So feel free to post information about anything that isn't in the comment section below.
Before we get into the details of each lens, here's a comparison chart of the features and prices of the currently available options.

Riton Optics offers a solid construction mini red dot optic for your slim Glock pistol. Named X3 TACTIX MPRD, the sight is made with a 6061-T6 aluminum housing and a multi-coated lens. Only the Swampfox Sentinel (scroll down) beats it in terms of durability.

The X3 TACTIX MPRD is a fully manual scope with 10 levels of red dot brightness. The first and second levels are night vision compatible, while the remaining brightness level eyeball Mk1 is compatible in a wide range of light conditions. The automatic switch-off function is activated after 12 hours.
Riton claims a light transmission rate of 99.5% thanks to high-density glass and multiple coatings. Lens coatings are said to reduce glare, improve clarity in low-light conditions, and resist scratches.
The company has a simple guarantee: if it breaks, send it back and Riton Optics will send you a new one. You don't need to register the product, you don't need any paperwork, and you don't even need the original customer. The company aims to process returns within 48 hours. It would be hard to beat this kind of service.
The optic has a suggested retail price of $299.99. The scope is relatively new, so you will need to purchase it directly from Riton. As it hits the market, I'm sure we'll see discounts on this show at regular retailers.
Glock Model 43x Mos 9mm, W/ 2x 10 Round Magazines, Standard Sights
Shield Sights is the longest running manufacturer of micro red dots for handguns like the Glock 43X. Currently, the company offers two basic models: RMSc and SMSc.
Built in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum body with a polymer lens that displays a red reticle. Shield Sights does not list what type of aluminum it uses for the body.
Shield Sights use an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when aiming the G43X. Polymer lenses are used in many reflex sights and generally keep manufacturing costs low. However, some people report that their lenses are more sensitive to scratches.
You can buy this scope with 4 MOA or 8 MOA dot. I prefer the 4 MOA, but the 8 MOA is really eye-catching. For close defensive shots, the larger dot isn't a bad choice, so choose what you think works best for you.

The shield does not identify how many light levels the vision can use. Rather, the point is automatically adjusted based on the lighting conditions.
Shield offers a 7-year warranty on the RMSc electronics and a lifetime warranty on other components.
Since Shield is a British company, direct purchases from the company require conversion from US dollars to British pounds. In addition, purchases will be subject to VAT or sales tax. At the time of writing, the Sight has an RRP of £300 ex VAT. After adding currency conversion and VAT, the price is approximately $472.98 plus overseas shipping.
Another Shield product, this unit has a similar look but has some new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.

Shield has also redesigned the lens. Now you can get the polymer lens with a special quartz hard coating for extra durability and scratch resistance. You can completely replace the polymer lens with a glass lens.
Like the RMSc, the SMSC provides continuous viewing with self-adjusting brightness. Mounted on the Glock pistol, a sensor measures the ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.
The SMSc can be purchased with a 4 MOA or 8 MOA reticle. It comes with the same 7-year/unlimited warranty as the RMSc.
With the quartz coated polymer lens, the MSRP with VAT is $346.85 per SMSc. The glass lens upgrade costs an additional $126.13 for a total of $472.98. This happens to be the same price as RMSc.

Alternatively, you can try to get it from a US dealer. However, at the moment the only retailer that carries them seems to be Springfield Armory. The company's asking price is $299, but it's out of stock and there's no expected restock date.
If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from distance meters to high-performance oscilloscopes. One of the more recent additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slim pistols.
The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. It feels light—about 0.4 ounces, according to the company's specs.
For durability, I much prefer 6061 or 7075 aluminum housings, however polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. I also prefer the glass lens. However, polymer is a proven material for optics, so this scope should be fine as long as you don't abuse it.
Glock Red Dot Mount
SIG uses a motion-activated system to illuminate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problem relying on it.
The brightness of the spot can be adjusted manually. Romeo Zero gives you 8 manually adjustable brightness levels. Two models are available: one with a 3 MOA dot and the other with a larger 6 MOA dot.
One of the highlights of this show is its price: $219. Buying online brings the total cost down to under $200 with free shipping. This is the best priced deal on this list with a pretty big margin.
Reader Mike W. emailed me about Romeo Zero and G43X MOS compatibility. He said the mounting screws that came with the scope were too long for the Glock pistol. This mirrors a problem I discovered when trying to mount the Romeo Zero on the Springfield Armory Hellcat.

I'll try to track down a set of replacement screws. It has been suggested that these M4-0.70x8mm flathead screws are a good replacement, but I have not yet confirmed this.
If you use the Romeo Zero on your Glock 43X MOS, let us know what modifications or alternative bolts you had to use?
Sentinel is robust and durable. Swampfox builds the body from 7075-T6 aluminum, the same hardened metal used in forged AR sinkers.
For the lens, Swampfox uses multi-coated optical glass to make it fog, water, mud and scratch resistant.

Additionally, the Sentinel is the only view on this list that has an IP rating—a standard rating system that measures the penetration of water and dust into electronics and other devices.
The Sentinel is IPX7 rated. This means that it can be submerged up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. No other optic offers this.
Swampfox offers the RDS in two models: one fully manual with 10 brightness levels, while the other is a permanent version with continuously adjustable automatic brightness. I have the fully automatic version and it works as advertised.
The photo sensor samples the ambient light and adjusts the 3 MOA red dot almost instantly. In actual use, I found it to work perfectly.

Swampfox offers a 50,000-cycle warranty on the Sentinel. In other words, if you have any problems with it during the first 50,000 live firings, they will fix things. If you fire 1,000 rounds a year, you will have the company's support for the next 50 years. However, I bet the company would be willing to ramp up manufacturing defects regardless of the number of rounds.
Due to the incredible popularity of Sentinel, attractions sell out quickly. However, they are available here at a discount.
