The Glock 43X is one of the most popular concealed carry pistols on the market. Many people also use it for home security due to its ergonomics and convenient size. Since most people will be using this gun in a defensive role, you will carry it in a Glock 43X concealed carry holster. There are many ways you can carry this gun, and each carry position requires a holster optimized for that carry position to provide the best user experience. We'll cover the various carry positions and how to choose the right holster for that carry position.

Most people will use a Glock 43X IWB holster on the rear attachment or strong side, although some may take a small portion of the back. I recommend going with an attachment carry, meaning a front carry or a strong side carry, which is on the hip or back rather than the small of the back.

The reason you don't want to buy a small back is because it can cause long-term back problems. When you lift the small of your back, it places the gun next to the spine, so if you fall and slip, it can cause a devastating back injury. Carrying a small gun off your back during the day can slowly wear on your back and cause long-term problems over time. Because you own a gun to protect your long-term health, you should avoid carrying it in a position that could harm your long-term health. There are specific features you'll want to look for in a Glock 43X IWB holster depending on your carry situation. So below, we'll look at back carry and strong side carry and what to look for in a holster when choosing one for each position.

When attached, the Glock 43X sits in a pocket between your inner thigh and neck. For a more comfortable experience, this entire pocket should be filled. This may be counterintuitive, but the more the pocket is filled, the more evenly the pressure is applied, thus creating pressure in one area causes a hot spot. A hotspot is an area that causes pain or discomfort. At first, this may seem counterintuitive, but you may want to keep your Glock 43X in a Glock 48 length holster. This is because the longer the holster is, the more evenly it spreads the pressure on the pocket. The Glock 43X is not the lightest gun for its size considering that most of the gun's weight sits in the magazine.

Any gun weighs above the beltline when you add attachments, and it's even more so for guns like the Glock 43X. Especially if you carry the gun with the S-15 magazine shield, which holds an extra five rounds. All of this weight makes the gun head heavy and moves the gun away from the body. It injects a gun into your vagina, creating a hot spot. Having a Glock 48 length holster can help alleviate this. Another feature that helps reduce this is a well-rounded storm. A well-rounded muzzle helps a lot, I see it in a Glock 43X or Glock 48 holster, but a well-rounded muzzle doesn't help as much as having a long holster.

Considering the gun sits in this pocket, you also want to make sure the bottom part of the trigger is pretty good. Many holster designs have sharp edges in this area and can cut into your thigh. Carrying a gun around all day is not comfortable. Good rounded edges are a must for any accessory carry holster. Another aspect you'll want to consider is ride height. Ride height is important because it affects three different factors: comfort, concealment, and speed. We've already covered comfort related to the pocket, but we'll go deeper. A holster usually attaches to your belt via a belt. This belt sits in a certain position on your waist depending on the pants you are wearing and the shape of your waist. This position of the belt varies from person to person, as the distance from the pocket the holster should naturally sit in a more comfortable position.

If your holster has an adjustable ride height, you can adjust the height of this holster so it sits properly in the pocket. When it comes to concealment, a lower ride height usually means more concealment of the gun. If the grip is closer to the belt, the gun will be more concealed. The opposite is true for ritual speed. The belt is very easy to affect your draw. So the farther the grip is from the grip, the faster you can grab the grip and pull the gun out of the holster. Unfortunately, neither world is perfect, so you'll have to find a compromise that works best for you, but adjustable ride height gives you options. If the holster doesn't have an adjustable ride height, you'll be stuck with how the holster sits, and it'll be less comfortable and won't meet your ride height needs.

A wedge is a device that sits between the back of the holster and the body. It sits under the trunk and helps to remove the trunk from the body. The advantage is that it directs the grip toward the body as the gun moves away from the body. So what we talked about earlier is fighting gravity. This is a very important feature in a gun like the Glock 43X, which is heavier. I definitely recommend using this if you have a Glock 48 holster, but it's even more important if you have a Glock 43X Special holster. A shorter length holster will provide more comfort using a wedge.

A claw or wing is a device that sits on the side of the holster by the trigger guard and uses force from the belt to secure the firearm's hand to the body. It pretty much hides the grip of the gun. Another advantage is that by changing the angle of the grip for concealment, it also improves the angle of the grip so that it meets your hand naturally when you draw the gun. This will speed up your draw a bit on the link. You may or may not notice it, but it takes some time off the clock. It really does make a difference.

Strong side carry is similar to attachment carry in that you want to make sure you have a well-rounded holster. If you have a nice rear, you'll want to go with a Glock 43X length holster. It is one of the few red dot guns on the market, and the optic's footprint has quickly become popular.

That's not the only change Glock has made to the 43X series pistol so let's dive in and check out the Glock 43X MOS and how Glock makes this micro combat pistol a little more capable.

Although these new small optics have yet to prove themselves, they are becoming popular. Especially when you pair it with a great Glock 43X MOS holster.

The major change made to the Glock 43X MOS is the change in slide color from stainless steel to the traditional black nDLC finish. The gun came out in black before the MOS series, but the MOS series will be nDLC only.

This diamond-like coating is very strong and has proven durable on most Glock pistols. The level of hardness is very high, and it is doubled from the old tenifer finish.

I can't lie, I love the stainless steel process and I think it makes the plain jane, spartan Glocks stand out a bit, but I understand the change.

Glock 43x Mos With Almost All The Bells And Whistles.

Stainless looks great, but black is less reflective and creates less reflection on the lens of your red dot optic. The black finish gives the gun a nice look and allows it to blend in better under clothing.

The frame is a traditional Glock black polymer frame. It's a bit blocky and white, but looks professional and is precisely designed. The Glock frame is not pretty but it is perfectly designed and made.

The sight of the Glock 43X requires black optics so black on black points goes. Fortunately, black is the most common color in the world of tactical optics. It also matches your shoes.

The Glock 43X MOS is an excellent and lightweight pistol designed with concealed carry in mind. The G43X MOS has a shorter barrel, and this makes it easier to carry OWB and the 43X MOS easier to carry IWB and AIWB (appendix inside the waistband).

The width is slightly thicker at 1.10 inches, and the slide is .87 inches wide. The gun weighs 23.07 ounces fully loaded. The gun is not the thinnest option, but it is still easy to hide.

The gun is perfectly balanced, and those who want to carry something small and light but still want a full grip will love the Glock G43X MOS.

When you add an optic, the height and overall weight of the gun changes, but not significantly. The modern micro red dot is a small and lightweight design that adds a lot to your gun. The G43X MOS is one of the smallest rifle optics on the market.

The gun comes with a ten round magazine and it cannot take the same magazine as the G43. It cuts out many of the magazine extensions made for the G43. However, a company called Shield Arms makes 15 magazines that are compatible with the G43X MOS and Glock 48.

It adds five rounds of flavor to your Glock series pistol. I don't have personal experience with these magazines, so I can't speak for their reliability, but they are loved by Glock 43X MOS and Glock 48 owners.

The Glock 43X MOS provides a better grip than the original G43. A longer grip makes the hand feel better and allows the gun to easily fit a 10-round magazine. Another big improvement is the little beavertail that gives my hands some protection.

Glocks and I are sometimes at odds because I have been a victim of constant disappointment with the Glock series. The Glock G43X MOS is different and provides a nice little overhang that gives me a better feel and keeps my hand from getting a little too tight.

The Glock 43X MOS is a very simple gun. Glock has a reputation for making guns as simple as possible, and simple is a good thing in a gun designed for combat. The 43X MOS has three safety devices, but not a manual safety.

Glock 43x Vs Glock 48

The only thing close to it is the security of safety, which does not allow reason to fall without success and goal press. This makes things very easy and allows the shooter to engage immediately without thinking too much.

The G43X's hand-crafted design aids recovery and control. The handle allows you to control and hold the gun easily.

It is easier for rapid fire and long days of range training than the standard 43. This is a must have for rifle optics.

Comparing The Glock 43x To The Glock 43: In Depth Analysis

One problem with the gun is the slide lock. With a good, thumb-forward grip, the slide lock is pinned and will not engage when the gun is empty.

This may be a problem related to my sausage-like fingers, but it's a common problem with every Glock I've ever shot, including the G43X (not the MOS version).

The star of the show is clearly the gun's ability to use an optic. A rifle optic may seem silly to some, but it has been proven by reputable instructors around the industry to greatly improve the performance of your rifle.

An integrated rifle is faster, more accurate and allows the shooter to easily hit targets at greater distances. On the G43X MOS, the optic makes sense.

Glock G43x & G48 Mos, Compact Pistols With Red Dots

Small guns usually have a short sight radius and the presence of the problem eliminates the problem of the sight circle. This allows a small gun to be as accurate as a large gun. Learning to use the red dots takes some practice. It is worth the investment in the end.

Glock has also added a small Picatinny rail to its new G43X MOS model. This small picatinny rail allows users to attach any device. This includes lasers, small lights like the Olight Mini Valkyrie, or training devices like the MantisX.

The Picatinny rail is a nice touch, and since red dots and lights are so desirable on a gun, many companies stick with smaller ones on their guns.

The G43X MOS also comes with most of the upgrades that Glock does for Gen 5 guns. It features an improved sight on the magazine, a sleek finger-less design, front serrations and a reversible magazine.

The front serrations are an important touch and allow you to easily control the slide when the gun wears a red dot. They are on the gun from the original G43X and more importantly the MOS system.

Front serrations ensure you can control the weapon without holding the optic. You can pull the optic to control the slide but as you do so you will be able to smudge oil on your skin on the glass. A smudge-free optic works well.

The Glock 43X is unusual, and so is the MOS model. The short slide combined with the compact-sized grip makes the gun interesting, to say the least.

The Glock 43X MOS fills the hand well, and the beavertail extension gives the gun a great feel. It allows you to control the big gun and keep it on target while shooting quickly.

The original 43 would bite the hell out of my hand and I hated it. I start flashing a little with each shot. That's long gone with the Glock 43X MOS.

The iron sights are the same as all Glock iron sights and are made of plastic and type. Throw on the red spot and switch the sight to the higher elevation sight for a quick sight.

Recoil is minimal, especially with 115-grain loads. You are a bit different with self defense load + P loads. This snap is important, but not uncontrollable or painful.

It has some bounce and kick, but not as good as the 357

Glock 43x Mos Light - If you need optics for your Glock 43X, I'm here to help. The Modular Optics System, or MOS, version of the G43X has a factory-cut slide that accepts only micro-footprint sized optics using the RMSc-style base. Not all Red Dot Sights (RDS) will fit.

Iwb Holster For Glock 43x Mos Torsion– Bravo Concealment

Shield Sights is the oldest manufacturer of micro red dots for pistols such as the Glock 43X. Currently, the company offers two basic models: the RMSc and the SMSc.

Built in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum body with a polymer lens to display a red aiming point. Shield Sights does not list the type of aluminum they use for the body.

Shield Sights uses an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when aiming your G43X. Polymer lenses are used in many reflective sights and tend to reduce manufacturing costs. However, some people report that the lenses are more susceptible to scratches.

You can buy this vision with a point of 4 MOA or 8 MOA. For me, I prefer the 4 MOA, but the 8 MOA really stands out. For close defensive shots, the larger point isn't a bad choice, so go with what you think will work best for you.

Shield does not identify how many levels of brightness the display can use. Instead, the dot automatically adjusts according to lighting conditions.

Shield offers a 7-year warranty on the RMSc electronics and a lifetime warranty on all other components.

As Shield is an English company, direct purchases from the company require currency conversion from US Dollars to British Pounds. In addition, purchases will incur VAT or Value Added Tax. At the time of this writing, the suggested retail price of the sight is £300 before VAT. After adding currency conversion and VAT, the price is approximately $472.98 plus international shipping.

Another Shield product, this unit has a similar look but also some new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.

Shield has also revamped the lens. Now you can get the polymer lens with a special hard quartz coating for durability and scratch resistance. You can also replace the polymer lens entirely with a glass lens.

Like the RMSc, the SMSc is a permanent sight with automatic brightness adjustment. When mounted to your Glock pistol, a sensor measures ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.

The SMSc can be purchased with either a 4 MOA or an 8 MOA aim point. It comes with the same 7-year/unlimited warranty as the RMSc.

With the quartz-coated polymer lens, the MSRP with VAT for the SMSc is $346.85. A glass lens upgrade will cost an additional $126.13 for a total of $472.98. Coincidentally, it's the same price as the RMSc.

Alternatively, you can try to get one from a US-based retailer. Right now, however, the only retailer that seems to carry them is the Springfield Armory. The company's asking price is $299, but they are sold out with no scheduled restock date.

If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from rangefinders to high-powered oscilloscopes. One of their most recent additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slim weapons.

The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. This lends itself to being light - about 0.4 ounces according to the company's specifications.

For durability, I prefer a 6061 or 7075 aluminum body. However, polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. Likewise, I prefer a glass lens. Polymer, however, is a proven material for optics, so you should be fine with this scope unless you use it too much.

GIS uses a motion activation system to illuminate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problems trusting it.

The dot brightness is manually controlled. With Romeo Zero you get 8 manually adjustable brightness levels. There are two models available: one with a 3 MOA point and a second with a larger 6 MOA point.

One of the highlights of this view is the price: $219. Buying online brings the total cost under $200 with free shipping. This is the cheapest offering on this list by a pretty wide margin.

Reader Mike W. emailed me about Romeo Zero's compatibility with the G43X MOS. He said the mounting screws that come with the scope are too long for the Glock pistol. This mirrors the issue I discovered when trying to mount the Romeo Zero on the Springfield Armory Hellcat.

The Sentinel is tough and built to take a beating. Swampfox machines the body from 7075-T6 aluminum - the same hardened metal used in forged AR undercuts.

Additionally, the Sentinel is the only device on this list with an IP rating: a standardized rating system for measuring water and dust ingress into electronic and other devices.

Sentinel is IPX7 rated. That means it's submersible to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. None of the other optics offer anything close to this.

Swampfox offers RDS in two models: one is fully manual with 10 brightness levels, while the other is a constant version with a continuously adjustable automatic brightness level. I own the fully automatic version and it works as advertised.

The photo sensor samples ambient lighting and almost instantly adjusts the 3 MOA red point. In actual use, I found it to work pretty well.

Swampfox offers a 50,000 spin guarantee on Sentinel. In other words, if you have problems with this for the first 50,000 real photos, they will work fine. If you fire 1,000 rounds a year, the company will support you for the next 50 years. I bet, however, that the company would be willing to intervene in case of manufacturing failures, regardless of the number of laps.

Shield Sights is the longest running manufacturer of micro red dots for handguns like the Glock 43X. Currently, the company offers two basic models: RMSc and SMSc.

Built in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum body with a polymer lens that displays a red reticle. Shield Sights does not list what type of aluminum it uses for the body.

Shield Sights use an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when aiming the G43X. Polymer lenses are used in many reflex sights and generally keep manufacturing costs low. However, some people report that their lenses are more sensitive to scratches.

You can buy this scope with 4 MOA or 8 MOA dot. I prefer the 4 MOA, but the 8 MOA is really eye-catching. For close defensive shots, the larger dot isn't a bad choice, so choose what you think works best for you.

The shield does not identify how many light levels the vision can use. Rather, the point is automatically adjusted based on the lighting conditions.

Shield offers a 7-year warranty on the RMSc electronics and a lifetime warranty on other components.

Since Shield is a British company, direct purchases from the company require conversion from US dollars to British pounds. In addition, purchases will be subject to VAT or sales tax. At the time of writing, the Sight has an RRP of £300 ex VAT. After adding currency conversion and VAT, the price is approximately $472.98 plus overseas shipping.

Another Shield product, this unit has a similar look but has some new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.

Shield has also redesigned the lens. Now you can get the polymer lens with a special quartz hard coating for extra durability and scratch resistance. You can completely replace the polymer lens with a glass lens.

Like the RMSc, the SMSC provides continuous viewing with self-adjusting brightness. Mounted on the Glock pistol, a sensor measures the ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.

The SMSc can be purchased with a 4 MOA or 8 MOA reticle. It comes with the same 7-year/unlimited warranty as the RMSc.

With the quartz coated polymer lens, the MSRP with VAT is $346.85 per SMSc. The glass lens upgrade costs an additional $126.13 for a total of $472.98. This happens to be the same price as RMSc.

Alternatively, you can try to get it from a US dealer. However, at the moment the only retailer that carries them seems to be Springfield Armory. The company's asking price is $299, but it's out of stock and there's no expected restock date.

If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from distance meters to high-performance oscilloscopes. One of the more recent additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slim pistols.

The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. It feels light—about 0.4 ounces, according to the company's specs.

For durability, I much prefer 6061 or 7075 aluminum housings, however polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. I also prefer the glass lens. However, polymer is a proven material for optics, so this scope should be fine as long as you don't abuse it.

SIG uses a motion-activated system to illuminate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problem relying on it.

The brightness of the spot can be adjusted manually. Romeo Zero gives you 8 manually adjustable brightness levels. Two models are available: one with a 3 MOA dot and the other with a larger 6 MOA dot.

One of the highlights of this show is its price: $219. Buying online brings the total cost down to under $200 with free shipping. This is the best priced deal on this list with a pretty big margin.
